SCOPE 5- Cannot start the SCOPE application error code 0001

I finally got my keys this morning but after installation and importing the keyfile I get:

"Cannot start the SCOPE application! (error code 0001)"

The drivers selected are the new ones and in the startup registry I changed from 4.5 to 5.

is there an errorcode descripion list?
cannot find it in the manual.

sounds like the wrong driver....

as mentioned before (see other thread above) we tried to manually exchange the driver. the correct driver version is definitely loaded.

I tried the following:

- uninstall v5
- switch to old drivers to make the v4.5 uninstaller work again
- reboot to make the v4.5 uninstaller work again
- uninstall v4.5
- uninstall drivers
- reboot
- install v5
- reboot
- install new drivers
- reboot

again: error 0001

turn off the machine.
remove the card.
boot.
turn off the machine.
install the card.
install the new driver.
install the software.

i hope that helps...
not being there, it's pretty hard to do more than guess, with the info i have...

so, this error 0001 was connected with keyfile ?
i have tried some time ago and i get the same error window,
also recieved email now and waiting for new keys,

hope it works then,

no, that was not me, it was the server.

Currently i get a lot of emails with hardwareserialnumbers, without hardwareserialnumbers . . .

To get the Scope 5.0 keys, please send an email with your actually keyfile attached to register@soniccore.de

I've got lots of software serial numbers (DAS, Flexor 3, XOR ...),manually typed, which doesn't work with Scope 5 ?

any advice ?

If you check your <scope 4 directory>/App/Bin and open the "scope.rgy" file, the devices should be regged there. That file should contain your extra devices with serials...

Well I actually did that exactly,.

Just emailed the scope.rgy file.

I have recieved another key this afternoon but cannot check if it fixes this right now,. but reading the other posts I believe it's ok.

nah, i know what was wrong,
i wrongly send first email with allkeys.sfk and then when i see that i send another email with scope.rgy ,
but i've recieved keys for Scope 5, which were in allkeys.sfk (which is old) and not for scope.rgy,
so i re-sended email now.

Problem solved here with new keyfile :)

Now must try new device and SC-Plate is the first :o yeah!!

Ah, that's quite important to know, as in the past just the hardware number was needed. i need to resend my request now.

well, strange is , that i can't run Optimaster, but i have key registered for Optimaster , i even see it under Scope 5 - registry window, but can't run it,
i can see registration window all the time, whatever i do

when i click on import and choose key file , it says "import ok" , but registration window appears again...
