Our first device for the Scope platform


The ECC83 Tube Filter is a stereo insert effect which consists of a multi-mode filter with ECC83 tube simulation input & output stages. The tube stages feature drive controls which at higher settings, produce extreme tube saturation effects. Filter type (LP,BP,HP) is selected via the 2 digit led display.

-Added gain reduction circuit as requested by musurgio. It's represented by a new gain switch, which at low (default) implements the gain reduction & at high, is as it was (extreme tube drive)

- Calibrated input & output stages to +/- 12dB

This is hopefully a device with a sound which we don't already have. It sounds amazing on electronic drums (been testing it mostly on the SPS-1).

Try inserting another instance, then another into that for a real heavy but sweat sounding distortion/overdrive.

Oh could you guys stop rubbing the salt into the (not very deep) SPS-1/UW wound which I sold to fund the Scope Pro purchase Nice looking interface (duh), will check this out tonight as soon as the baby is sleeping Looks simple enough I can't break much.

great job on the GUI - the grey area between button 2 and 3 from left is cunning '... must get that dirt from the screen next time...'

What I fouynd though as useful settings for a tube warmer as I perceive it using this device the following way:
Use as input level -33db just enetring this value use the LP filter and keep the reso at 12 o'clock !
Use the first tube drive, I don't like (sorry) the second one as it does something strange to phase...
Use as much of tube drive youlike and put your output at 24 db to have same output as your input.
Noiw this is a hell of a device !!
Could you please !! do a version (a Dimitrios one) that will use the -33db as normal (0) for the drive input and the 24 db as normal (0) for the output ??
I would want that much !!
Thank you for this great plugin even though I have to make my initial different settings.

We'll check the phase issue mentioned. It should NOT be there, as this is a true stereo circuit. It must have arisen from the circuit being changed a lot without being completely rebuilt, so if it does have such a bug, it probably needs rebuilt from the ground up. We'll get it sorted!!

The phase issue may have been related to the fact that I forgot to set the module to load on 1 dsp. That said, during manipulation of a parameter, you will get a slight phase drift which dissappears returning the device into phase alignment when you stop tweeking.

Try v0.2 which has been set to load on 1 dsp & tested for phase by cancelling out a high level pink noise test signal sent to both L&R and one side phase inverted. The result was complete cancellation even with both in & out drive at max as well as boosting in & out gain, meaning there is no phase problem to the best of my knowledge. :)

Does this require Flexor?

There is a dsp file missing in my system that prevents it from loading..

latest beta version (v0.3) is uploaded.

Insert slot no longer set to load on the same dsp as the device.

Hopefully that's it until a major update.

P.S. It seems that the device actually loads and works!.. But I keep getting this message each time I load it

Strange!! Check if you have the dsp file installed.
Are other people having this problem?

Im test it and NO PROBLEM -working fine
