Hi all
my setup: pulsar/nuendo using XTC.
Is it possible to split a recording signal in nuendo? I want to record vocals/guitars in nuendo. The recorded file should be a dry signal, whilst the monitoring signal should be wet using fx/verb so the musician hears the wet signal.
This is what I do now:
When I want to record a signal I create a new audio track,
select an audio input port (one of the z-link ports I defined in the input/output settings window of nuendo)
and press the recording enable swich on the track itself and start recording.
Simple. Or not? In the neundo mixer window I can see the input ports and the signal coming in, I can even use inserts on these input ports, but I somehow don't hear these inserts back on my monitoring system, and even worse, I think I then record a wet signal (but I haven't tried this, now it comes to my mind). So is it possible to split a recording signal in nuendo into a wet monitoring signal and a dry signal for recording?
regards Wilbert
