The tips section of this forum is fantastic, but not so easy to browse. It would be great if we had a wiki here for that sort of thing

I notice that this board runs on php.

There's a *really easy* wiki available here for free:

http://wiki.sourceforge.net

Imagine: Go to the tips node, click on [mastering], add your tip to the nicely formatted page.

Just an idea

Sounds good for me but from the pesimistic point of view - people will again ask questions in those ready-to-use threads/categories causing mess again

That is (sort of) the point of a wiki. Because everyone is allowed to edit the pages there will be questions appearing all over the place, but those questions can be answered, and then formatted nicely into a coherent page.

The beauty of it is that with unlimited admins it only takes a little housekeeping from everyone to keep it in very tidy running order - the onus isn't on one individual.
