is there the possibility to convert the "mutlimode filter A" (this would be the best i think, but any of the resonant filters would be ok...) of modular 2 in a 6db higpass /lowpass?
i'm trying to build an emulation of korg ms20 (with ms-20's sampled waveforms), but i found that the highpass filter is a 6db, instead of a 12db.... i cannot use the "simple" 6db, because it lacks modulation inputs...
anyone can help?
thanks!

damn... it doesnt have the resonance control!
but apart this i foudn that the reproduction of klorg ms-20 is VERY complicated!!!

Why don't you write and ask Red_Muze about your needs - Perhaps it isn't so complicated to make a Hi-Pass filter with resonans - I mean, he has the filter allready, and resonans is included in most of the other filters, so he knows how to do it, and he has proclaimed that new modules would be added - Why shouldn't your needs be one of them?
Just a thought

Why don't you make your own resonance?
Resonance is just a feedback loop: invert the filter's output and mix it with dry signal to the filter's input.

yeah! now i know!
i'll try it soon!!

thanks

i tried to mix the out of the filter with the in... but it seems not possible, because i get an error message referring to a "loop"...

insert a "Xmod&Feedback Connector" in the loop...

Technically, a 6dB (1 pole filter) HiPass filter with resonance is impossible to make. A filter with resonance control must be at least 12dB (2 pole filter). Manually using a feedback control with a 6dB filter will result in a filter with a steeper slope than 6dB. Unfortunately I can't tell you exactly why, because the mathematics for this are too complicated for me
However, I just wrote this to clear things a little bit up (I hope). This feedback trick might give you exactly the results you want.
Cheers,
Vincent
