Hello to all! :smile:

I just want to ask a few questions about some settings in the BIOS:
1) Which BIOS revision are you using?
2) Advanced->Chip Configuration->Graphics Aperture Size: Should I put 64MB here for a Matrox G550 or more? (for better audio performance)
3)UC or USWC for G550?
4)Should the Delay Transaction be enabled or disabled?
5) Advanced->PCI Configuration: PCI/VGA Palette Snoop setting for G550?
6) PCI latency timer setting?
7) Boot-> Plug'n'Play OS enabled or disabled? (for XP standard PC)
:cool: Reset Configuration Data: what is that?

Thank you for your help! :smile:

1) You can not just use any BIOS. You need to use a BIOS made for your very special motherboard.

2) I would put this to 1/4 of the system RAM (if posible).

5) No

7) Disable

Reset Configuration Data = skip any changes you made after going into the BIOS this specific time.

Thank you guys for replying! I am at the moment downloading the latest drivers for my DAW and a bit later I am going to format my HD and start again from scratch!

I will let you know how it turns out in the end! :smile:
