I had a hard drive failure on the computer at home that I use for office, email, internet, etc... I know this might be a strange subject for this forum, but do any of you know how to find the registration keys for windows 98? I can't find them anywhere and cannot load the OS to get the computer back up and running....

If it's an OEM version then it's on a small sticker, either on the small book that came with Win98, or on the chassis of the PC itself.
If it's a full version, then I'm not sure.

You need to open the registry. How you do it is up to you. I would insert the drive into another computer if there is no physical damage other than bad sectors and get to it that way.
go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-->Software-->Microsoft-->
Windows--> Current Version. You can now see the product key entry with the number beside it.
