Request a new device/modular module, and hope that some enterprising developer grants your wish!

Dunno if someone's already suggested this, but a text box in ModIII would be cool. I don't mean the free one's you can get now, with a line of text. Let me explain: whenever I download a Mod patch I tend to forget to keep the text file explaining the patch, or sometimes the patch doesn't have a text file but an explanation on the download page. It would be nice to be able to access the text file from within ModIII (or cut'n'paste one from the download page), a bit like having a mini manual that you could see on a drop down. This would help when I've completely forgotten what the patch was for and be saved with the patch.

Hi Tony,
I also think this would be an excellent addition to the Modular, and was one of my suggestions in the last big 'What would we like to see in the next version of the Modular' thread.
I think it needs to be part of the empty modular shell, rather than a seperate module. Just a little button next to the preset button which would open a notepad-like window where the patch creator could credit themselves, explain about the patch & presets and where users could write their own notes.
Maybe ModIV?

Yes that's exactly what I meant but you put it far more succinctly! While we're talking of ModIV (heehee) I would like to see better step sequencers and a better drum sequencer that you can program triplets in. I'm trying to build a virtual CR-78 in ModIII which is quite easy to do with samples but I can't program all the original preset rhythms due to the lack of triplets.
