I installed winxp home on my machine.
But u have problem

I downloaden V3.0 full ( installed works fine )

now i want to install v3.1 A ( but installer will not start )

If i start v3.1 C it asks for complete version ??

Is the installer from Creamware download site corrupt ?? , were can i find a correct installer for 3.1 A

Please advise its really strange...

sounds like an aspi layer issue. make sure you've got at least aspi layer 4.6 installed.

ASPI has not much to do with installation issues, once installed SFP will use it to be able to read Akai CD's.

Make sure your source folder for the installation is quite simple, like d:SFP3.1a or so. Long paths can disable the setup files.

IMO there's some other threads which discuss this setup problem, try looking for those...

For shure its not a aspi problem, i have the latest layer 4.70 special for win xp.

it was the root problem,, thankz Atomic !!

To long filenames by mister gates fucked it up !
