I ended up overloading my last powersupply after adding several CW cards, a bunch of HD's, CD drives, etc... (Plus an athlon XP which works as an effective room heater!) I got all these weird errors, things didn't work, the OS started losing my drives, and at times I couldn't access my soundcards.

I popped in a hot-rod powersupply, re-installed and the gremlins went away...

Hurray, since along time I had the problem driving my Pulsar 1 with a samplerate of 48 or 96kHz on my Abit KT7A-Raid motherboard- wanna-be. The sync gets always lost.
I had a thought and upgrade my powersupply from 300 to 420 Watt.
My gremlins went away too, every samplerate works now.
