It seems you have to activate the CD by visiting the <a href=https://shop.creamware.de/shop2000/de/s ... S>provided link</a>, which means you must register on the Creamware site first. They then send you the key to 'activate' the sampler.

The CD also includes FLASH demos of all the main Creamware products, and about 100 megs of samples from Best Service. It also includes a Volkszampler manual in PDF, along with Acrobat reader.

Since the program requires activation still, I might be able to put this thing up for download as an ISO... Of course, I wouldn't want to do anything illegal, but the CD does say "FREE" on it, and it seems like a lot of nice advertisement for Creamware, too.

[edit: competition ;]

Hi!

....and? Does it work?
I'd like to hear your experiences!

Right now I already have two Volkswagens (+20 Volkswagen models), so I want to expand my Volks-possesions with a Volkszampler!

i got the volksampler - yeah it works. it is basically the sts3000 (you even get the creamware grey arrows, and file browser). when you load it, you get a "loading volksampler" screen with the infamous CW satelite - looks like it is taking over your computer! i have an AMD K6-2 @ 500mhz, and loading the device takes 30% of my cpu resources, so it is not for weak processors. . . does just what i expect it would! no complaints (other than the fact that it is not the sts . . .)

If someone can give me an FTP login/password I can upload the Volkszampler ISO, provided nobody here has any objections... After all it seems you have to register @ CW and you get some nice FLASH Creamware Ads, so it seems beneficial to get this thing out.

you should probably ask CW if this ok before doing it. i spose if they wanted it up for download, it'd already be on their site. otoh, maybe they just don't have the space (nor do i unfortunately, so i can't offer up the space).

send email to nb@creamware.de (nikolai brengelmann) and ask him.

oh... so what is multispatial? how do they call their space probes on starship voyager? multispatial or multidimensional? maybe it´s just bad translated in germany (like everything is bad translated here, just look at terry pratchett´s or douglams adams´ (may he rest in fun) books...)

Mo

p.s. yes, guru pulsarian sounds... ok for thousand postings

Thanks for the kind words (blush)

Anyway, still no FTP space, and I doubt anyone would want to spend time downloading the full 400+meg CD for a free VST sampler, nor 152megs for "just" the Volkz install.

But alas, the offer remains... anyone with FTP space for Volkzsampler, I can put it up.

A what point will Subhuman become assimilated into Pulsar itself and form the perfect union of man and machine?
