Hello everybody,

I have a LunaII with SFP3.1c and when I read a mp3 file (from my hd) with Winamp 2.78c there are jumps during the reading(like on a old vinyl...).
I don't have this problem if I use my old SB16.
What's the problem?

I was very keen to say "I know the answer", since I had the exact same problem.

The wave output (including STS samples) used to gitter, jump, crack and crunch while playing, even though ASIO was crystal smooth.

That problem, as far as I know (after going to all the the local experts), is the problematic WAV driver C/W poorly coded, but that driver was upgraded on ver. 3.1c, which you claim to already own... so I can't really help, I'm affraid.

After I upgraded the driver, the problem (touch wood) disappeard. On my previous efforts 'to find the rat', I replaced my mother board, OS, HDs, SCSI card and many more (The only original thing is now the case!!), but with no success.

Try to deinstall and reinstall SPF *WITH* the new driver, I can't think of anything else. Perhaps the PlanetZ gurus will be more helpful.
