I,ve Upgraded my system some time ago from
a PIII,tualatin 1133MHz/256k L2 to a PIII,tua
latin 1266MHz/512k the difference was astonishing. All the heavy CPU load plugins
which slowed my system down now just are tickling my System performance meter in logic. I'm using a Asus TUSL-2C with 512Mb
and I easy run 4 to 5 Atmospheres ,7 to 8
Stylus and 12 to 16 EXS 24,together with a
fully loaded Scope/SP+Pulsar1 and several tracks of audio. Most of my latest songs have
more than 24 tracks all seperately over 32 or
64 asio channels together with most of the time 2 or 3 pulsar synths. ( I use the scope mostly for mixing and compression, with the
awesome Vinco)and a few Masterverbs and/or
masterverbs pro.
I hope this helped you. I'm also looking for a 1400/512 processor for a friend of me,so if you now where to get it please drop me an email. giovanni@trance.org

thanks for your answer. but you don´t have cubase 5.1 on your system to try out a reverb test?
anyway, it seems the tualatin with 512kb cache is the money worth.

i have found a german seller (i guess it´s the cheapest in germany, also look at ebay)

I have Cubase Sx on my system ,but I didn't find the time to check this reverbthing.
Partly because this reverb sounds more like a delay/chorus or something like that.
When I'm behind my pc I'm mostly writing
songs or checking out/testing software and creating sounds. But I saw you get the picture
