Hope some kind soul can help a newbie.
I want to run the output of my SBLive Platinum into my Pulsar 2 Plus mixer. I tried using the Soundcard Source modules but it didn't work.
Now I am thinking of running my Live Drive's coaxial SPDIF out into my pulsar. But where to? The AES/EBU input, or the ADAT input? I don't seem to have SPDIF inputs on Pulsar. Do I need some kind of a converter? (I'm looking for a really cheap solution to my problem!)

Wellcome to Planet-Z.

Look.. I have a Sblive connected to my pulsarII classic, I just plugged the SP/DIF out of the SB to the SP/DIF in of my Pulsar, and voilá, just connect the spdif source to your mixer and there you go.

From your description I guess you have the PulsarII plus, I think you'll have to use a XLR to RCA convertor cable, those are pretty cheap and it will work ok.

So I see no reason for you to have problems with this setup. Hope this helps

Snoopy

gregartemides, snoopy's right about the S/P-DIF thing, should be easy. Analog works too, but w SB's AD/DA convertors and noise...

Did you try to edit the Soundcard Source/Dest and select the SB? AFAIK, make sure both cards are set to the same samplerate if you got problems.
