I installed Midiman Midisport drivers to my OS X 10.1 and something went wrong. Now I cannot modify the root directory of the Macintosh HD. The subdirectories can be changed. I am the administrator of the system but it still doesn't allow me to do any changes to the root directory and therefore I cannot install anything. Any ideas?

Yes but I haven't had any problems with it before I installed the Midiman drivers. Seems that the Midiman installer has left something to the register.

In the info / privileges the owner is Unknown and group is Unknown and only owner can make changes, others can only read. Is there a way I can override this so that I can reset the owner or the privileges?
