They're saying Fall...
XP is working well for me, so I decided to treat my DAW as a "production machine" and only put on "officially certified" updates.

XP is working swelling on my Pulsar box, so I am not being impatient there.
My laptop is a different story. I get clicks/glitches at anything under 20ms and random lockups. I'm in standard pc mode with no irq conflicts and latest drivers for everything. I have installed a few USB fixes from microsoft to no avail. I was hoping that getting everything 'all rolled into one' might fix the problems I am having. I definitely cannot wait until Fall for this, as I have another show Saturday . . . gulp . . .
I am rolling back onto Win2K pro tonight and see what that will do. [Hope!!!] If that doesn't do anything I'm offing this laptop like the plague and getting something with a nicer chipset. Cutting corners might have just kicked my arse.
