How hard would it be to code a Sample Oscillator for ModV2 that has dynamic LoopStart and LoopLength parameters that could be changed while the sample/loop is playing without interruption?
I love the effect of shortening a loop so much you get a tone then slowing it back down and elongating it so you hear the sample again.
lemme know!

Reminds me of one of the original low-cost samplers: the Akai S612. This beauty had start and end point sliders that could e adjusted in realtime. It didn't do much, but it was a good ergonomic piece of kit.

Portamento would be even nicer than the loop points...
And both would be nicer still.

i have an akai 612. it's really good in loop mode when you move the start stop sliders. it's really beat up and i don't even know if it's working right but sounds cool.

I have asked tobybear to make such a VSTi, and someone has asked MDA. Never bothered to ask scope developers. they seem to shy away from the extra tweaky stuff, with a few wonderful exceptions of course.
There must be a conspiracy out there against this feature. Battery has it, but phahk NI. I want something simpler that I won't have to sell bodilly fluids to affor the purchase.
