Yeeees, it´s true. You will - according to the tape you get to hear if you try to call them in germany - get NOONE for support or things like that.
I´ll leave this uncommented this time.
The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Maybe it made lots of people angry but at least, God's last words were "Sorry for the inconvenience" written in fiery letters on some remote planet. See, this is quality work. You don't get that from Micro$oft for using Windoze!

An this wasn´t announced , right?

I wonder what´s going on...

Actually, about 60 people work for CW. Not all of them in the german office.

If you consider the holidays and vacation time in Germany, it is disconcerting but not alarming.

Perhaps, they're in talks with Steinberg? Create a strategic partnership with them?

Restructuring to hire a new SEQ/DAW department by hiring on those Logic PC programmers?

Steinberg guys + Logic PC programmers = new Creamware SEQ/DAW???!!!!

One could only dream!

Very enigmatic???!!!

C'mon, they're enjoying their vacation. It's not uncommon here (Netherlands), and I suppose Germany is no exception, that small companies with little internal backup decide to just close the office down for one month instead of working with 60% of their personell during 3 months.
Let them have their fun too

hehe, betcha they REALLY trust planetZ, cuz a bunch of poeple are going to come here for tech support.

I do wish them a good, inspiring vacation though. Sometimes too much work is just too much work. I can use a vacation right now!

Yup! Hopefully something will trigger and a new inspiration will comeabout!

True, though. This Planet teems with CW's undeputised tech support which makes this platform a true "by the people, for the people" platform! Kudos to you all CW experts out here!

You deserve a break CW! I think I'll take one meself! Where's my Maui Jim?!

happy vacation creamware!

I can't fault them, at least they let the SFP settle for a while before they headed for the beach. I don't know abouyt the partnertship with Steinberg idea, they are pretty near impossible to get on the phone, maybe second only to MOTU.

Hey, nothing against your fun - but seriously:
NO company can do this. You´re paid for your product AND your service. A good product is a product you can rely on, and because (almost) no software based product is bug free, the only way to ensure this is giving service. And now they´re not even doing that.
Take a look a emagic´s service database and compare it to CW´s so-called database. And once subhuman (who surely can be considered as a professional) gave a slight hint that it would be a good thing to improve their website, and all they´ve made was a silly respond like "Take a look. We´ve done this already.". Yes, every two months if they´re good.
No chance, i´m off with the next chance. If this platform works fine for you, then you are surely interrested in a Scope/SP-Bundle with TripleDAT included - in this case make an offer to Briefkastenopa@gmx.net .I´m pretty much interrested in how much one will pay for this stuff right now...

Paul, they probably left you out of the loop. Creamware is negotiations with Apple and will shortly discontinue products and support for any microsoft platform.

I don't think anyone here is worried because PlanetZ has always been the number one place for support anyway

But it does seem a little odd. Care to illuminate us Paul ?

It's the same in most northern european countries: Here in Denmark it's the first three weeks in July.
