I have a IBM 75 GXP "deathstar" that i want to replace before it is to late.

Now i found a IBM 120 GXP at a REALLY good price but......

Is it just the 75 series that is crap?

Do i really dare to buy another IBM to replace my first?

I have heard that most of the problems are specific to the 75 series (and even there, I think it is slightly overstated; I have at least 20 of those in machines I've built, no problems yet after 2 years...)

I would still probably just get a Seagate Barracuda IV, or a Maxtor Fluid drive at this point. If for no other reason, they are both quieter..
