I've just been using my Luna 2 and when I change things just as lfo's in Absynth I get a bit of a crackle. Is this kinda thing normal?

I'm ABSOLUTELY gutted, after installing Reason and getting something running I had no sound. Fine I thought, its cos I haven't routed any sound in the Luna mixer, so I route reason to the analogue outs and ouch, i've got a constant crackling and snapping. My heart sank...I didn't think non-via could do this.

So, whats next? Try flashing the BIOS (which i've never done)? change mobo?

A saddened board member,

=(

I think i've sorted it, I wasn't using ASIO Scope drivers. Are the other creamware drivers better though?

I had equally poor results with nForce as I did with VIA, but I think you should be able to get usable performance at least... did you already "Optimize" your OS for audio? And I suggest the ASIO drivers for low latency. They work really well here (using the 24 bit modules)
