Please guys I need someone clarify this to me.

On my studio I use win98SE and a HP 9100 CD-RW drive, I've installed Direct-CD and no problems at all.

This friend of mine has a good conexion on the net, so I use his computer quite often for downloads, he was using NT 4.0 before, now he has upgraded to win2000 professional. He uses a HP CDWriter plus 7500 which is an external version compatible with direct-cd, so I was happy downloading a lot of stuff and not spending in regular CD-R.

BUT NOW we cannot install Direct-CD, nor we can find the drivers for this drive on Hp website for Direct-CD, only for DLA, which BTW we installed and does not work either.

Does this means that Direct-CD is not supported on win2000 any more??

Thanks for all your answers guys.

Snoopy.

There was a bit of a stink about cd cremator and directCD when win 2000 first came out, i did not hear much more about it though. I prefer Nero.

I don't know Nero. (well may be some guy long time ago )
Do you think if install it I'll be able to use the CD-RW and read it back on my computer and use the same disc to copy again??.. I don't want to bother my friend too much you know..

Thanks

Snoopy
