questions regarding laptops and PCI expansion chassis

Hey everyone,

Has anyone done any research on running a Pulsar card through a PCI expansion chassis on a Laptop? Anyone got a recommended configuration? I'm thinking Dell Inspiron with a Magma expansion Chassis, but I'm curious if I'll run into problems of the "PCI overflow" variety. Any words?

I know it has been done by someone on this forum.
He was very satisfied.
I know that RME claims to have the same performance on a PCMCIA card as on the PCI card.
That's about what i know.
Do a search.
