				Hi,
Does someone have some thoughts about the new Celeron (for example the 1.2Ghz)which features the same core as the Tualatin P3 ?
Can it be a good upgrade (before major P4 upgrade) from TUSL2 and P3-650Mhz ?
thanks in advance,
Best regards,

Yeah the Tualatin-core Celerons at 100mhz FSB are good buys, particularly the 1.0A Ghz Celeron which hits 1333mhz (1.33Ghz) on a 133fsb with stock heatsink (hi defex). Also runs really cool, making for a quiet system.

I have just done almost exactly the mentioned upgrade, from P3/500 (Katmai) on P3B-F to Celeron 1.2GHz (Tualatin) on TUSL2-C.
Works great!
It´s the best catch for the money you can go for. I could even keep my old PC100 DIMMs, which saved me enough to get a new silent PSU by Zalman instead. Was really a good idea.

Im not using mine with pulsar because its an abit board,(and i have a P4 for that

but its a 1.2 and its running at 1.505 the pci bus is actually going a little slow, (fsb= 128 or something) but my oasys is not streaming anything so the 2 tracks or whatever I would miss do not really matter.
the chip is really nice though it is just like a p3 but faster. (and runs very cool, probably as cool as your 650)

My 1GHz Celatin gained 4 degrees i temp by going from 1GHz to 1333GHz. And it keeps everything else working within specs. I haven't had it above 45degrees with the boxed cooler yet.
