I know this has already been answered, but there are tooo many alternatives and I am really not a techy
I am going to get a new Mobo as the one I have now keeps shutting my PC down. I am considering the Asus TUSL2-C. Is that the best one for the job considering my set-up:
Pentium III ATX Motherboard (SM-370SCD)
Intel® Pentium® III 800MHz Processor (100MHz FSB)
2 x 256Mb PC100 SDRAM Module (168 pin)
15Gb ATA-66 Hard Disk: (5400rpm)
30Gb ATA-66 Hard Disk: (7200rpm)
nVIDIA TNT2 32Mb (M64) AGP Graphics

Just to help things along a bit, here's the choice with prices!
Can someone give me some advice about the best to buy. I have very little idea of which one is the best, I would just prefer to spend the least amount possible and not encounter any conflicts with the Pulsar.

I seem to be having a conversation with myself here. I have just spotted Subhumans 'Suggested hardware post' and have had all my questions answered.

the tusl2-c is without onboard graphics. if you use a seperate video card get that one.
tusl2 is the same as cusl2 but with support for the "tualatin" p3 and celeron chips.
the cusl2 seems to be expensive considering it is an old version.
celerons 1.2 and over ghz have the same cache as a p3(they are essentially a p3 and the p3 has been updated) and are very cool running.
they benchmark about the same as AMD t-bird at the same speed, and a p4 at 300mhz more.
new p3(s) if you can get them have a 512 cache
but are quite expensive. they are even faster. probably the fastest per mhz you can get.
they can be used only with the tusl2 boards.

I have a graphics card so TUSL-C is OK.
Is this processor OK (for the time being)with the TUSL-C.
Intel® Pentium® III 800MHz Processor (100MHz FSB)
OR, Should I consider upgrading. What is the best option?
I really am clueless about this side of things!

Is OK. Upgrading CPU is not to recommend. To really upgrade you should think about CPU+RAM+Mobo. Like P 4 with 1 GB RDRAM. Or something like that. TUSL2-C is a perfect replacement for your damaged old one.
