Hello:

I have a Pulsar I and a Mackie d8b console connected together by ADAT lightpipe to send/return 16 channels between the mixer adn my PC.
I want to expand the number of channels to 24 or 32.
Anybody knows which is the cheapest way to expand to more in-outs on the PC?
Is there any expansion board with 1 or 2 two extra ADAT in/out lighpipes?

MMMmmmmmmmm Mackie D8B - I wish !!!

Anyway - I use an RME Hammerfall 9636/52 which gives me an additional 3 ADATs. Its lightning fast (< 1.5ms latency) and works a treat along side my Pulsar on W2k. I presume however that you want them for other IO cause the RME wont work with Pulsar unless you ASIO them to something like Emagic Logic first and even then its tricky

Get another Pulsar(2)! More DSP's powers and more I/Os!

I believe the ADAT expansion board offers 2 sets of ADAT ports and a Z-Link - check what comes with the CW "hammerfarm" - or get the Ultra 16 and wait for the USB option . . .
