				Hi there,
We are keeping on designing new musical gear at Aodyo.
After the Sylphyo (wind controller) and Anyma (synthesizers), the time is now to launch a new kind of MPE controller.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ao ... controller
I wonder if there as been any devices on Scope to add MPE support ?

Thx,- this is interesting ´cause, like their other products, it will be available from Thomann (reseller) sooner or later.
I´d wish there came a 4-octave version !
For Scope, don´t expect too much developement progress a.t.m..
I´m urgently waiting for their fully working Win 10/11 ASIO driver alone and since it was announced 1 1/4 years ago.

Interesting! I've been scouring for a midi ribbon controller. Not much out there and they $$$$.
uses USB-C Ankyu!
Does it come with a good protective carry case?
Class compliant USB drivers?
Plans for a windows configurator app for customization, mapping and presets?

Protecting case is something we would add later as an accessory.
It will indeed use class compliant driver as for any of our devices.
The configuration app will be available for Mac and Windows.

Is the surface pressure sensitive? I've not been able to determine this from the videos. I see the main surface area appears touch sensitive and only the seperate lefthand square appears pressure sensitive. Is this correct?
Looks an appealing and useful controller, are there any plans for cv outs?

The sensors we use for the multitouch surface are a mix of capacitive and piezo, no FSR.
So you could call it touch sensitive rather than force sensitive. But there is also the dynamic dimension derived from the piezo sensor to get further than touch sensitive only and get better dynamic response for percussive playing.
You are right the square action zone is force sensitive.
No built-in cv outs plan as this would add sensible cost, and would be difficult to find space inside the Loom for this and existing solution in the eurorack module offer like Expert sleepers FH-2 or the forthcoming Befaco MIDI Thing v2. Our idea on that front is to keep it the simplest possible with midi over USB-C and legacy MIDI DIN through TRS jack only.

				Thanks for the informative answer.
Looks a handy playable interface I'm sure I'll have much use for.
For mpe data into Scope afik there is no specific mpe decoding.
However, mausmuso has a midi link(?), ocean swift the midi commander and spacef also has developed midi devices.
Modular, of course. WillEllis(?) did the wonderful bcmodular. All of which allow the data to be separated on a per channel basis and multiple instances allow 16 channels to be interpreted.
The pro-one, prowave, etc work with velocity and aftertouch, as standard midi cc data. 16 instances of synths are easily possible with Xite and larger Scope card setups, with one channel to each.
While not the same as mpe it's fun to do.
I'm sure there are other devices which interpret midi to allow the use of the mpe data and have expressive fun with Scope.
Routing the mpe data through a daw should filter the data in anyway needed to control the cc parameters for most if not all Scope instruments.
Think fra77x2 may have a midi device too and there's something in the mass of Spielraum's devices somewhere
Apologies for misspelling of names and vagueness of memory and lack of any helpful links but it should easily be possible to have fun with Loom and Scope right out the box.
I'd be curious to use the strumming technique with six string
Perhaps some demos to show how Loom and Scope works together?

				6-string is a good idea ...

				Mausmuso's device was actually called
Midi Bench
Spielraum has a device/module
Midi PolyNote Control to show activity on 16 voices
Passing the time awating Loom...

It would be perfect with CV/gate eurorack compatibles mini-jack sockets

				We thought about it.
This would have a significant impact on price and would mechanically be difficult given the shape and size of the Loom. Actually there is no space for extra connectors.
We considered the best way to achieve this to be an external USB-Host MIDI to CV/Gate converter in Eurorack (and probably the same for desktop CV/gate as shown in our video of first test (with an expert sleepers FH-1 providing limited CV/Gate out and a simple euro rack setup not really tailored for ployphonic use):

We made a follow up campaign on Indiegogo for those who miss the initial kickstarter campaign:
