I already mentioned this as an idea to be developped as a single module or even better, as a device.
My solution here uses an 8-8 modular frame and also 8(!) multimode Filters for better flexibility...

MIDI CC 29-32 are assigned to decently affect the filter frequencies, 29 for hpf, 30 for high bpf, 31 for low bpf and 32 for lpf, each of them for both channels (l/r) equally, of course.

Opening the patch, you´ll also find l/r seperated VUmeters which can be set to show the specific frequency range by sliding the switches underneath them where 1 is for highs ... and 4 for bass.

inputs are 1/2 for l/r (what else did you expect?)
outputs are pairwise, 1/2 for high freqs l/r ... so os ´til 7/8 for basses... right.

Now you can process audiomaterial more specific than you ever did before, happy FXing!

PS.: I would have liked to use some non-resonant but variable Q filters, similar to parametric equalizers, but such do not exist yet for ModV2, afaik.

All D/P Scopers to battle station!!!
Make this one a small and most powerful device!!...pleeeeeze..?

Cant get this (Mod2?) patch to load in v2.04a - are you using v3.01 ?

yes, I´m on V3.01

I guess, your problem is the 8in-8out Modular frame...

This is a good mod. It allows the creation of some really neat wacky sounds breaking in thru the freqs or just smooth freq roll-ins(?). Neat and intresting.

More experimental mods/devices please.

I agree with Marlin, this is one splatch  that goes in a new way of sound design.
I used it on drumloops and forced the frequences to do some things that can be not done before. Nice work from JoeKa and nice thinking. Congratulations to you and hope you sleeped well.

i'm on os 2 as well.

patches from the mod2 with os3 (luna, pulsar, scope) are totally incompatible with earlier versions of the os and the mod2.

i like how mod2 pre os3 is still refered to as mod2 In os3..

it really should be called mod2.1 or something. there is no mention of a change on their website.

could you post a ledgible fullsized pic with routing visible?

i may be interested to see how this patch is done and recreate it. it sounds interesting, splitting up an input into definable frequency bands.

Yeah, cool, thanks a lot for the 10 out of 10 rating!
*g*
This shows me I´m going in the right direction...

You´re on Mac, right? Hm... for me the link works as it should, maybe it´s a "macish" problem?

to borg:

try ctrl or right clicking on the file and "save as" ,instead of just clicking on the file.

sometimes browsers misinterpret binaries as plain old text files. especially when they are not in a known format, e.g. .mdl.

people really should zip up their files.

yep, still dreaming of that little 'mac corner' on Z...

i don't mind reading the lot on this planet. even the tech talk, which is all about pc, helps me to understand DA a bit better, and eventualy, i might end up bying a pc dedicated to audio in the future... unless money starts flowing in drastically  then i would definitely gor for the newest G7 for recording and sequencing, a second one stuffed with SRB cards, the latest powerbook (maybe two) to dump everything on for live jobs...
