This is only an I/O option currently for Pulsar and SCOPE.

There's two ways to get AES/EBU:
1) Get the Z-Link/Adat expantion plus a RME ADI-8 DD. Gets you 8 channels of i/o, but quite expensive.
2) Get a SP-Dif to AES/EBU converter.
I use an Alesis AI-1, which also does samplerate convertion and Adat. If you're lucky you can get one quiet cheap. (They're not produced anymore AFAIK)
Kim.

Is AES/EBU supported through the RCA i/o on the Luna II or is it only S/PDIF? I want to have the Luna II hooked up to the Genelec 2029bs which require AES/EBU for digital. The 2029as support s/pdif, but only at 48kHz while the 2029bs support upto 96kHz. I don't want to be limited by the 2029as considering the cost of investment, hence the desire for AES/EBU.

RCA only supports SPDIF on Creamware cards.

Some gear accepts SPdif in AES inputs.
There's no harm in trying, just use digital audio cable. (75ohm)
Kim.

hosa makes a very good sp/dif to aes/ebu converter for about a hundred bucks.(i can help you get one if nessesary)the difference between the two is basically that aes/ebu is a balaced line.(slightly different in spec too!)
