Wondering if there's anything already out there similiar to this one by j9k but with some extra features (Scope device only please)

-Note triggered
-select sync up to 2 bars or time >5000 ms

For example I want to tap a note on my keyboard/drum pad and have it open my AUX effects send in 2 bars time from fully closed to fully open
without having to hold the note down.

I understand that any modern DAW is capable of this with automation so please don't respond with that answer, thanks

Maybe something could be done in Modular with EG controlling a VCA? Not sure about the tempo sync but tho

Yeah I guess I could rig it up through a modular shell. Might have a go at that.

Hmm not sure but I don't want it to trigger back to 0 after you release the note. I was thinking of the ability to choose a separate midi note to close the AUX send either immediately or over the same selectable time.

I spent the morning muddling around in modular. There seemed to be some possibilities but I haven't quite put it all together yet.
I'm a little bit rusty with the modular right now.

So this whole idea started when I was jamming along and I wanted to slowly add my aux effects and of course I can just use an expression pedal for that but that requires extra brain power and foot coordination. So I thought it would be a lot easier if I could just hit a pad to trigger the ramp up to slowly blend in the effects and then hit another pad to slowly blend them out sort of like the way a leslie rotor speeds up and slows down.

Nah no example - my Modular chops are lame But conceptually my starting point was to think of a synth but instead of an oscillator passing thru the VCA its just a normal audio signal. And the ADSR slow at all ADSR points - or like you mentioned something to 'hold' it open until a second midi trigger. There's a modular module MVC C to convert note on to CV (I think) so maybe assign one note to start and another note to close. I know this is a bit vague but like I said bout my Modular chops

Here is the result of the days labors. Much thanks to Spielraum for helping me get started.
I have this set to control the AUx send 1 dial in the STM2448 mixer. NN22 triggers it to open very slowly and stays open with an ENV loop to basically infinity haha. Then NN22 will close it per the decay set in the AD Vintage. Any other note will close it immediately.

Instructions:
-Set your note on and off numbers in the gateSwitcher
-Set your CC output with the R8 CtrlA dial
-Adjust your Envelopes as desired.

Prob not going to ever get it to sync per bar but this will do for now.

Hope it works for you. Haven't been in modular in a while so I probably screwed something up or did something that will make you scratch your head so comments and suggestions are welcome.

Tried some Ramps (including Flexor3) but it resets and repeats. I've never set up a sequencer patch in modular so I'm unfamiliar.

Is there another module you are thinking of?
