Hi there.!

I have a pulsar2 and i was working with it till yesterday it suddenly stoped to load it self. i re-installed the version 3.00 and 3.01 and tryied also the old 2.04 version but still i get strange messages.
like:

Hardware cannot be setup properly;
installation error:Pulsar2 SRAMTest failed:
data 0x80000000 reads 0xffffffff.
Please check hardware for conflicts.

and another one:

Board 0(boardID 0)is not a pulsar2!


so the software doesn't start anymore and shows me those messages(above)

i had windows98 SE and win2k installed and before it was working on both sites.
so now i have formatted C: and installed windows XP.
and installed the pulsar again and while trying to start it still the same messages.!

Please does anyone know about this kind of problem?

256 mb Sdram
geforce 256 graphic card
quantum fireball plus LM 7200 HD
Lg 52x cd-rom

sometimes i have strange messages and pulsar won't sturtup. then i turn comp off and with hand mess pulsars conectors.
so, in my case i think that's some contact problem.
try to remove pulsar2 board and add again in the same slot!
maybe is stupid, but you can try!?

Hallo Guys,
I had the same "sramtest failed" problem.
My solution:
I removed the pulsar2 card from the mainboard and plugged it in again.
After that everything worked fine!

P.S.: Thought my baby is leaving me!

could be a poorly seated board or dirty contacts.(clean with 99% or purer alchohol)
otherwise, the card will have to go in for service.
