Difference of V_nothing V5 V7 synths

Being a longtime scope user, I find some synths with additional numbers at the end of the name.
E.g.: Minimax, Minimax V7 or Lightwave , Lightwave V5, Lightwave V7

All seem to work and I can't find the difference.
Is there any difference and if so, what device to use ?

I don't know the differences, but I always go with the latest. Perhaps more optimised? I think a couple have some extra functions, like drone button on Minimax.

I always use the latest as well. Older versions may work better on corresponding versions of Scope.

v7 version has Unison (UVOC and UDET) , and Drone mode (drone AMP, and Drone note ) they are displayed in the GUI, its there but easy to miss them
