Props to the Mesa 1516B cab. Used to own one of those. Great sounding cab. Wished I'd never sold it.
Stuart.

Paul McCartney used this too.

It's the SK20. I sent a couple of circuit boards to jhulk a couple of years ago and he got the synth back in full working condition. (someone spilled a beer on it doh!) The SK30 was priced quite a bit higher than the 20 at the time so the salesman talked us into buying a CS-5 with the SK20 since the only real difference was a solo synth section on the SK30.anabella wrote:Paul McCartney used this too.

Certainly not the best synths around for the time but i wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
The sounds are rather blah to me. Prob needs the osc's tuned maybe? No idea on that.

A portion of my little spot (doesn't include DJ area or VJ area, both of which have their own controllers/turntables/computers and in the case of the VJ area, 8 projectors)

not really, you have really nice gear there, i saw you also have Roland jv1080 ?
i owned it, really long time ago and some other nice piece of hardware equipment.
now, i just have 2 computers connected together , with creamware cards and vst's, that's it.

Since it's been a while since someone added a studio - here's mine.

Re: Show your pictures of your beautiful Scope Studio here!
Wow, what a great synth collection, the arturia origin, how do you evaluate the origin? Is this better than the software version?

Re: Show your pictures of your beautiful Scope Studio here!
The Origin is a great synth - sounds amazing when programmed to take full advantage of joystick and ribbon controller. This one is still working perfectly although I live in dread of one of the controller pots going. Trying to get as many features as possible controlled by cc command to avoid wear and tear. Don't quite follow your question re software version - wasn't aware there was a software version of the Origin.

I think he means Origin vs. Arturia VST plugins.
Re: Show your pictures of your beautiful Scope Studio here!
Haven't had the Origin long enough to get round to doing a like for like comparison between VST and equivalent on Origin. It's a little academic as I've been mixing Oscillators and Filters from different synths to create sounds on Origin - something I can't do on the VST versions.
