This is a very simple Mid-Side module for production.

It reveals inputs and outputs for the individual mid and side signals so you can connect any effect in the signal path.

To use, connect the stereo signal you want to modify in a m-s fashion to the L-R inputs of the device.

Connect the L-R outputs of the M-S module to one stereo channel of your mixer.

Connect the m output to the m input and the s output to the s input if you want that signal untreated
or put any type of effects (mono) in the signal path.

ps. To be able to treat a signal in a m-s fashion the signal should be stereo. Mono signal have no side information.

This is excellent !
But I don't see any L/R output ! Only 2 L/R inputs : one on the right and one on the left... So I can't connect the m output to the m input and the s output to the s input as there in no L/R output to get back m/s treated stereo signal. Or there is something I'm missing completly... (which is absolutely possible)

Could you show us a screenshot with stereo signal at L/R input, fx processing on m and on s, going back into the module then the stereo signal coming out of the device ?

mid and side signals are monophonic

@JoPo i haven't made the output pads red...

I replaced the module with a new one with correct red output pads and removed a dsp forced load.
Download again the file. If you have a xite it would be best to assign custom dsp for the module and the
effects used so to avoid any phase issues. I can't guaranty behavior phase-wise for automatic distribution.
Normally it is very dsp-light and everything should work fine.

tip 1: You can leave for an example the mid signal unconnected and only get some more side effect...
tip 2: You can easily convert a mono signal to pseudo stereo by applying a small static delay (no feedback) to one of the channels.
