Scope 5.1 & legacy hardware

Well,

I purchased the 5.1 upgrade recently. Partially because I'd like to get my Modular install up to date (having my name on certain modules, you'd think I'd run all the latest in that arena eh?) Also because I have a few extra cards coming from a friend and will probably move Scope to a Win7 install sometime in the next year or so...

In the meantime I'm on 4.5 and am wondering if I should move that install up to 5.1 now. The machine in question is a VERY old P4DC6+ Xeon rig that's run more or less flawlessly (1 PSU replacement & a few minor upgrades) since 2001. It's got early generation Pentium-4 Xeons in it (2 cpu's) and as long as I disable the Gigabit (aftermarket) PCI-X ethernet adapter that I added runs without DSP overflows up to the DSP limit.

My question therefore is, does Scope 5.1 have more of a hit on the host machine (CPU basically)?

no, v5.1 really doesn't tax the system harder than v4.
