sure, it's just an AD/DA. if you use ADAT, it works with anything with ADAT ports.

Z-link is not firewire! do not connect the Z-link ports to a firewire device, damage may occur.

Z-link just uses the same cable as firewire.

hi, another thing.
to wire a 16 channel soundcraft is better to use two A 16 ultra one for inputs and one for outputs or just one.
believe there are problems using the same for both outputs for both the inputs?

yes, that might make trouble, or the power supply for th A16 might be fualty or the A16 might have a problem. disconnecting the modem would be the first test. a meter on the power adaptor would be next. Ferrofish www.ferrofish.com repairs broken A16s....
