Example modular 2 & 3 (but not Flexor) patchords are missing and can't be made to show, although when you make a new one it shows. Don't know if this happens in all setups or just some. The problem showed up in my system in XP and Win7, in Scope PCI and Xite. Only the example patches, not the patches I had created or example patches I had modified. I only recently noticed this because I hadn't looked at the example patches since I don't remember when.

It turns out there is an easy fix. You only need to copy the example patches from an old version of Scope. I used v4.5, I would guess v4.0 would work as well. Problem fixed. I'm almost certain there are no new patches in Scope v5, so this fix should work without any down side. Seems to work OK on my setup, for both PCI and Xite.

Got a response from Holger at S/C, who said the problem is known, and has been fixed for the next update.

arrghh those missing cables are giving me grief

Im still new to Scope and modular.

I was learning by loading presets and looking how they were routed but since the update my cables have vanished

Just latch onto a Module and move it around a little bit, and then snap it back into place.
It remebers everything you have done, the GUI just seems like it needs to catch up.
Also, the GUI occurances vary from user to user.
My cables never disappear but rather still show where they last were. So I can drag a module over the top and they disappear and show their newest placement.

I get this fault in scope 4.5 and to get around it I have had to right click the module, disconnect then re-connect. Not much help if you didn't know where the cables were supposed to go though.

I'll try out a few things

Pretty sure i have tried moving modules around but the cables didnt show.. fingers crossed i can make them reappear
