because the provided Modular2 tutorials are out-dated and buggy, I composed some general notes on the Modular Synth and some tutorials:

These are awesome Roy, thanks so much.
Is there a way I can migrate these to my DAW?
Or are they permanantly saddled to your site?
I try to copy them and cannot.
I should just roll my rack over to the Internet PC so I don't have to dash across the room maybe.

Jimmy, after you copied the patches, they are located in your Scope folder:
Scope/Devices/Modular2/Tutorials/CwmTutorials
(forgot to mention this small matter )

That sounds like a problem with your cset file. If you load cset.ini (Scope\App\Bin) with Notepad and scroll down to the [StaticPath] section. Here there should be an entry for Modular (ie. Modular=c:\Scope\Modular2 Modules) if you enter the correct path (the folder your modular modules are in) here and save the Cset file the modular menu bar should should work next time you load Scope. Make sure you make a backup copy of the cset.ini file before editing it though, in case anything goes wrong.

Grappa........I share your sentiment.
You'd think from the decades of classical training that fatigue would be non existant, but the first time I scratch my head or rub my eyes on these DAW related issues, I give up.
I would love to be able to use this stuff live, and it looks like this is a big step in that direction.

I think we speak of two different things:
-I was referring to a problem which is (I think) a problem of the graphic card: from time to time I can’t see the drop down folder menus just because the graphic card don’t like that the modular window is on the right monitor. so I close that window, draw it to the left monitor and voilá, after opening it again folder menus are back.
-you and sharc talk about the "wrong" location of the modules on the hd. in a rare situation where you installed Scope on another drive than the module folders are, Scope does not know where it should look for them. so the drop down folder menus cannot be seen.
btw the install.ini path of the modules is always by default Modules=x:\Scope\Devices\ModularNew\SDK, where x is the drive where Scope is installed.
I simply don’t get it why it can happen that the wrong drive letter is in the install.ini

anyway, to err is human. I updated the relevant section.

Having a spot of bother loading a couple of these tutorial patches into Scope v5 - I get a fatal error with Scope.exe message when loading the basic poly and one of the other patches (sorry can't remeber which one at the mo).

Any one else confirm?
