Midi Recording problem with Cubase Sx3 & Scope Home 4.5

Hi,

I have a problem with the recording timing of the midi signal in cubase sx 3. the signal reach the sequenzer in time but it will be recorded with a high latence. i checked everything, my routing windows, the samplerate settings of the card and cubase, the settings of cubase, asio-settings, really everything but i dont find the mistake!!!!what could it be??

i would appreciate help!!!

Hi!

Perhaps you can check "use timestamp" in Cubase (Devices > Midi.....)

Ive had this problem before, and this solved it for me

thank you for the tip but where in the settings can i find "use timestamp" exactly??

did you find it? it's in your Device Setup, under the Devices menu, then in midi port setup, check the timestamp boxes

Or maybe the midi resolution ticks in preference.
