Wavelab and Win media p "crackles" during recording and play

Hi,
I have some sumors (crackels) during recording an play of Wavelab 6 (official version) and Windows Media Player as well
I have Scope 4.5, tested several option like wave source - waw source 24 bit etc, w/o solving the problem.
Maybe somebod can help me?

Could you please post some technical data (which mobo, cpu, ram, os etc.).
That would help finding the reasons.

Hi,
check the latency in ULLI Settings. Increase and listen, what happens. Perhaps this is a solution.

there are many things that might cause crackles. we'll need to start with technical specs. also, go to start\programs\accessories\system tools\system information\harware resources\conflicts-sharing and tell me what, if anything, is listed with the same irq as the scope card...

Thank everybody for trying help me.
Some additional infos:
- latency setted at maximum possible @ 44.1 khz (the problem is not latency)
- NO PROBLEM ANYMORE if wavelab works with ASIO (!!)

For WavLab , Simply use the ASIO-Sccope Driver !
For WinAmp & alike ,Use Thee Alternative ASIO4ALL [Its Free and ez to setup] .
