Scope v4.5

I know this has been discussed in other threads, but I can't find it.
What's different from v4.0 in the 4.5?
Is it possible to download and use the latest one charge free, without the plugins it's bundled with?
Which the main points for the update?

What do you mean with bubble?
The 4.5 I just received with the Pulsar II recently bought on a Ebay auction looks having the same colours of the 4.0.
I'm trying it on my previous PC and I'm wondering about installing the update in the main machine once I'll move the 6 DSP board there...

The splash window at the application startup shows version 4.5, but the bubble is yellow; maybe the corners are kind of darker.
Which color is it there?
