routing midi out of the modular?

Here's what I want to do: use the audio to cv to extract the pitch and gate from an audio source and use it to trigger non-modular synths. I know that wolf's midi toolbox has a module to do that but is it possible to do it with regular mod3 and/or flexor3 modules? Thanks!

It takes a single module to merge the gate, note number, velocity etc. into a single sequence of events - to combine it to one midi message. IIRC Wolf's module would be the only thing that does that for now...

That's what I thought... I'm eyeballing this toolkit... would be VERY useful for my live set...
