I find some plugins won't insert.At the moment one of the BX mastering plugs doesn't work as does the attacker plugin.

Anyone having probs?

No but I don't have that device yet. I just recieved an email from them on a really cool device though I am looking at.

Which mixer are you using BTW? Surely not the FAT BASTARD 5.

hi MM,

The BX and SPL plugs seem to work OK with Medhi's mixers.

I get the odd crash if I insert something while the audio is running and then try to open up the plug surface, I think that's graphics related.

Not much help, I know.

for effects to work in insert slots, they must be in the effects folder........

I usually use the drag and drop from the rooting window to the insert square of the mixer and evrything is ok. With the drag and drop, you can use all the effects wherever they are installed (effects, plugins, etc ...). I do not use the right-click for instretion anymore ...

That's what I did and some of the plugins don't work.

I am so feverish to hear new effects, I drag and drop from the USB stick that I download to, then copy from the stick to the effects folder.

I'm so impatient I often fast forward through DVD's and always surf during commercials on Law And Order, my favorite show.

I take it that many here have Mehdi's mixers.

I find it amazing that there weren't any issues. There are so many templates and sub preset lists, and MIDI CC's galore.

There was never an issue, or error log to send, or anything.

I only wish VST developers were as great as our 3rd party developers.

Shit,............and people wonder why I am stricken by the deadly disease 3PDS. ( 3rd party developer syndrome )

I don't know, my inserts are regular insert slots.
it doesn't change the way the insert work to use right click context menu or the scope file browser (it is just more or less convenient for different people).
All the plugs i have loaded so far work fine. What is the problem?

it is curently available with the mixers (add-ons pages). I am not sure it is useful if you don't have the mixers. The current version is not tempo based yet (only free modulations... )

Bx MS mastering.New ones work though Mehdi.
Spl's attacker and,I think Transient designer doesn't work.Don't have any updates for those.Will verify for you later and check the others.

Audio just gets muted when the plugin is inserted.

i had the transient designer stuff, i'll try to find them and reinstall them. I don't have the BX unfortunately (good that latest versions work though, if i understood corrcetly).

i have blackbox II bundle
is it possible to combine it with MixSat right?

Yes MixSat C2 is included in the BlackBox (it should be in the main user area page, in the add-ons. I don't think it is in the main install yet).

Edited: oops, sorry, i didn't understand the question. Unfortunately, MixSat C2 does not have modulation inputs: only workarounds can be used (like loading a filter on a stereo channel and using the left input for modulation signals, and right for audio. You can use stereo effects after such a filter routing (stereo delay on mono sound for example).

In BlackBox II, the 3 LFO can be used on synth and devices that have an external modulation input (synths, some effects such as Echo...)
