I haven't been using my pulsar 2 for two years.
Now I have new Computer and I want two restart making music.
I'm using Scope 4.0
When I want to put a STM 2448 in my routing window, I have the following problem:
The installationfile is the same I used before.
The STM 2448 works, but the message comes very often - not nice....
What can i do???

the search function on the forum has all the details to that one.
the file should be in scope/app/dsp.
be sure that it is not marked "read only". the windows installer makes this mistake if you install from a downloaded version of tscope from cd(and in a couple of other circumstances). at any rate, if the file is somehow missing you can copy and paste it directly from the install files.

Thank you very, very much - since I used the batchfile, everything works fine!
I didn't hear from this bugs, yet. You live & learn...

not always - I recently had one of the dsp files marked with 'hidden' and 'system' attributes which I had to delete manually before the 'copy' was accepted
If I remember correctly this has been observed before by someone else.
I'd rather guess it's a Windoze bug though, as I always use the same 2 installer sets and it hits a very small number of files randomly.
cheers, Tom

that's true.
it's strange that i don't see this happen when i use the manufactured cd or when i put the downloaded install files on the desktop and install from there....
