Ownership transfer.

Hi,

I just bought a second hand Pulsar II to complement my other card and expand DSP power.

1)How do I go on about actually owning the serial for myself, so that way when I need support or recover lost keys I can send an email to Ralf and then legitimise my request for keys and SonicCore platform V5

2)The previous owner did state to me it has Scope 4.5 mix and master with it. I had a look at the allkeys.sfk and as far as I can tell the plug ins that are stated in the mix and master pack are there except the VDAT. Was the VDAT added at a later stage than the original 4.5 release?

3)Final question, as when Sonic Core decide to release V5 do they only need the cards serial number in order to legitimise that it has Scope 4.5 registered to it?

Thanks alot.

Dave

Since SonicCore took over from Creamware, the online store and "My Page" is removed. All you need is the serial number. E-mail it to SonicCore and ask for your keys, you won't need any other identification. This is how I went about it with my second-hand Pulsar and it was no problem.

I don't know. Somebody else here should be able to answer that, or you can always email SonicCore. ;)

Yes. Each card has the software registered to its serial number, and as I said before, as long as you provide them with the serial number, they'll provide the keys. If the previous user has already purchased 4.5 for the card, SonicCore will have registered that purchase to the specific serial number of your card.

Cheers!

Thanks for the reply, it is good to know all i need is the serial number of the card to have access to the allkeys.sfk and future support.

Cheers.

I recenty bought a used card, and, although it had the allkeys, and 3rd party keys attached, I asked Ralf if he could provide a single allkeys file for my 3 cards, and he sure did, and very quickly too...

3rd party software still has to be registered individually, though.

Indeed, I'm impressed with their speed. Last week I asked for the allkeys file for my old Luna/Elektra card, and he replied in less than 10 minutes. More companies should have that level of support. For my money, it's worth quite a bit. =)
