Dear All,
I received from few days my scope project

, and I had before one Scope home, I tried to install them in my new pc, I installed the project card in the middle PCI and in the fourth PCI scope home.
I found that the S/TDM connection on the 2 boards are not beside each other (not align), and if I will connect the S/TDM cable it will not fit properly...like the photo in the installation guide.
Any advice.
Regards,
Ladiki

Thanks stardust, Me$$iah.
I got 9 DSP

on my system, and i was wondering since I'm using the project card as first card and the home as second , can i connect my Luna 2496 I/O Box and use it normally ?, i tried to do that yesterday my computer reboot, then i got the power lamp on, but if i choose on my scope system the Luna card...Zlink.... I'm getting error.
Is that normal?

sure you should be able to use the luna z-link. you do have the z-link modules in the project, no?

I have the exact same setup. 3 dps card with z link. and 6 dsp card.
I use the 8in/out box on my 3 dsp card without any problems!

I was running the same setup before; one Scope Project (as master) and one Scope Home with the Luna 2496 I/O-box on the Home card's Z-Link. It worked fine, although there was interference and ground noise introduced by the I/O-box, which I've since eliminated through using an A16 Ultra over ADAT instead. This eliminates all electrical transferrence noise, since the ADAT is optical, not electrical.
If you can't get it to work, my suggestion would be to remove the Scope Project card, install Scope software for the Home card, and make sure the I/O-box works when the Home card is solo. If it doesn't, I'd guess you have either a faulty I/O-box or possibly a faulty Z-Link interface.
You could also try using another Z-Link cable, as that might also be what's wrong.
My first step would be to run the Home card solo, though, to eliminate the possibility that your Project card and/or STDM-cable messes it up somehow.
Cheers!

Hi,
Thanks all for reply, well it's working normally without any problem in XTC mode in audition 3.0, I'm using asio driver and i can see all input/output of my scopes...
Except if I'm using the sfp, if i will choose the ZLink A dest from Luna card, i get one error, i will post a screen shot tonight...
PS: is there's any book as a manual and tips for Scope systems?
Again thanks and best regards,
Ladiki

is there anything connected to the z-link module?
perhaps running the installer again(over the top of the old install) will help....

Hi,
@ garyb, no there's nothing connected to Luna I/O, i installed scope again, still the same...
@ stardust, concerning a source module in routing window...an asio source could be ? or you mean something else? because even if i'm choosing zlink S before or after choosing zlink Dest, i'm getting the same error.
I have Audition 3.0, and with XTC mode is working normaly all input/output are ok in multichanel or edit view...
But in sfp window i'm not sure what should i do? please if some one use audition please give me a hint.
PS: i really would like to deal with sfp not xtc...

i believe the luna box or an A16 needs to be connected to the z-link ports for them to work without an error message.
in Scope mode, the asio source and dest modules are the hardware audio ports for the sequencer. the sequencer midi source and dest are the midi ports. these must be in the routing window with the proper number of channels BEFORE you open audition. this way the sequencer knows how many ports to configure....check the manual...

Hi all,
I'm still getting this error <Module> if i installed my scope project as first card.
But when i installed my scope home first with scope home 4.0, then
installed my scope project and upgrade to 4.5 the error gone,
And as i know that it should use the big card as first card... so what should i do ?
Is there's any harm to have the scope home as first card and the project as second....

Ladiki
