if you resize the picture down to 30*20 cm or so the text stays readable on the monitor screen :-)

edit: you need a picture editor like paint or Photoshop or a Picture Viewer with edit functionality.
Resize the image (20*30 cm or less), and fix the pixel resolution to 72.
Make it a jpg.
choose a picture file size of 30 to 100k for the web.

perfect :-)
now you just have to remove the big one, as the thread is still conditioned by the (biggest) picture.
Scroll to the right (yes...it's big...) and click 'edit'.
Now you can delete the attachment.

you can also edit the post with the picture and replace the original one with the small one.

as long as you're post is the last one you can delete a complete post in edit mode :-)

Post by hubird »

put the oxe file in the oxe folder in the Scope directory, or create one if it isn't there.
Then start SFP and import the key :-)

Just to reiterate the steps involved:
Download the SPL Attacker oxe file from

ftp://ftp.creamware.de/Software/Scope_f ... okeys_OXE/

Put that Oxe file in C/Scope/App/Oxe or create a folder called Oxe in the Scope directory if it doesn't already exist

Launch Scope - you will get a message that the Oxe file has been successfully installed

Close down Scope and relaunch it before trying to use the SPL Attacker

Hopefully that will all work.

PS. Oh and welcome. Where have you been since 2001 if not here?

you don't need to create the folder. it's in Scope/App/oxe....

that worked fine.

I have problem with a Pro-One oxe-file I bought and downloaded from Sonic Core site.
Actually I bought four synths/plug-ins and this is the only one that doesn't install like it should.
I don't think it's my fault as the other 3 went ok (I had problems with others too, but they're solved now).
So,
At first I did as directed by S|C, put the .oxe file into App/Oxe folder.
The installation showed a message "Initialization of Zarg_Pro-One_NoKeys successful", but the installation process didn't go further - it didn't show a window where I could put my Pro-One registering code into.
Of course when reopening Scope there was no Pro-One showing in the Scope Synths or PlugIns Menu. Or elsewhere.

Then I tried with the pluginsinsaller.exe.
Identical results.
So at least the process starts ok. But doesn't continue properly.

I have sent e-mails to s|c but the replies I've got have not led anywhere.

Another thing (though I don't know if it has anything to do with this):
Every time I open synths.pro I get error messages "Exception! array index 1 out of bounds". This repeats twice.
Then comes: "Exception! no error description".

which one did you buy? the zarg / WC pro one 3.0 from john bowen, or the S|C pro(t)one?

1) recently S|C added the zarg pro one to their shop. the file was uploaded today to the third party folder. it's a zip file, no oxe. normally you would have received that via mail from ralf, nevertheless.
2) the Zarg_Pro-One_nokeys.oxe in the nokeys_oxe folder is a dummy file. don't use it. use the protone_nokeys.oxe.
The installation showed a message "Initialization of Zarg_Pro-One_NoKeys successful", but the installation process didn't go further - it didn't show a window where I could put my Pro-One registering code into.
that .oxe is 1kb in size and does not contain the synth. that's why.
Every time I open synths.pro I get error messages "Exception! array index 1 out of bounds". This repeats twice.
Then comes: "Exception! no error description".
try to rebuild that project from scratch.

I bought the Pro-One at s|c internet shop and got an e-mail (from Ralf Bach) with an address from where I was supposed to download it:

"Hello,

please get the oxe-files for pro-one and six string from here.
ftp://sonic-core.net/software/SCOPE_Family/nokeys_OXE/

Put them into the oxe folder of your scope installation ( Scope / APP /
OXE ) and start Scope."

There on the download site are three similar sounding names: Pro-One, Pro-One Solo and ProTone.

I tried Pro-One, Pro-One Solo, no success; and also ProTone but the activation key didn't work with it.

Thanx Stardust but I'm afraid you didn't read my earlier posts.

The problem is not a lack of proper keys. I have them as sent by Ralf. But the problem is the download link that I got. There is available only an .oxe file for Pro-One. And as explained earlier I cannot install this .oxe file.
As I have now understood it I ought to have .dev and .pre files. Paying 98e just for nothing (in this case) doesn't look right and sensible IMHO.

somebody else had this problem recently. i don't remember exactly how it was fixed, but i think it depends on which device you have.

if you have the keys for the Zarg(John Bowen version), then you need to get the file from him. no big deal, just write him an email...

if you have keys for the S/C version, try the "protone" oxe. i believe that's it.
