Hi everyone, I woke up this morning thinking about planet z (you can imagine how I looked like! :P ) and realised I never shared with you one of the purest joy of my life, a soul mate for Scope powered daw: a Boxy Cab (www.boxy.it)!
They're cabs built here in Italy by a company with the same name and let me tell you: they look nice, and they sound GREAT!
No unwanted reverberation inside (yes, the rooms are tunable at will), high sound damping on the outside! You'll love one of theese rooms.
Just for honesty, I don't get a dime for maketing, it's just passion! :D
Here's a photo of the center where I work here in Livorno (they added the Boxy logo in CG for commercials).

Unfortunately the website is in Italian or German. i assume this is a room with a room? i'm looking for some acoustics ideas at the moment but this may be a bit expensive.

They're soundproofed rooms, with damping or reverberating (simply by switching their sides)movable panels inside.
They're not cheap, but I know as a fact thet the factory is searching for cheaper materials for starting a kind of a budget-oriented line of products

8) ok... I haven't been so clear: Boxy Cabs are actually rooms, suitable for reharsal, conferencing or, and here we are, studio apps.
I.e. you have a big room for your studio, just put a Boxy cab in it and set up your DAW outside and... you can record anything inside of it with exactly the sound you're looking for.
Anecoic... here you are!
Some room reverb... here you are!

Awesome!
I can multitrack a 4 or 5 elements band putting the musicians in a room, the drummer on nother room and the amps in a third room whitout any phase problem or unwanted mic spilling!

hope I'v made the thing a bit clearer :P
