SPL - Transient Designer

Really addictive toy! On individual tracks that are already slightly compressed, it works as promised. Changes the envelope of audio signals very smoothly, with almost no artifacts, as long as you remain in a "subtle" range of parameters, but then again you might like the weirdness of more extreme settings. I'm using it as an insert in most (I admit being a junkie, by now...) stringed instr., such as bass or gtr.

This makes two things possible: firstly, you can increase or decrease the attack of any sound material. Especially with percussive sounds, this is an easy way to add more punch and boost the presence of these sounds.

With the Transient Designer you can also shorten or prolong the sustain of an audio signal. This enables you to increase or decrease its relative share of the acoustical space.

In its digital version as a Plug-In for Pulsar, the Transient Designer also works with audio signals in 24bit/96kHz-format for the first time.

<font face=Verdana, arial,=Arial, helvetica,=Helvetica, sans-serif=sans-serif size=2 color=#FFFFFF>Key features:

<font face=Verdana, arial,=Arial, helvetica,=Helvetica, sans-serif=sans-serif size=2 color=#FFFFFF>Unique sound-shaping potential

<font face=Verdana, arial,=Arial, helvetica,=Helvetica, sans-serif=sans-serif size=2 color=#FFFFFF>Handle 24 bit / 96 kHz audio material

<font face=Verdana, arial,=Arial, helvetica,=Helvetica, sans-serif=sans-serif size=2 color=#FFFFFF>Work on up to six channels simultaneously (Attacker: four channels)

<font face=Verdana, arial,=Arial, helvetica,=Helvetica, sans-serif=sans-serif size=2 color=#FFFFFF>Graphical representation of envelopes

<font face=Verdana, arial,=Arial, helvetica,=Helvetica, sans-serif=sans-serif size=2 color=#FFFFFF>Intuitive handling, stereo-link
