These guys have been around for a long time, and are one of the worlds largest manufacturer of electronics. Their QC budget is extreme, and they are focusing on fighting with the Abit, Asus, DFI, Gigabyte, MSI crowd, in other words the enthusiast market.

I do prefer Intel boards, but this P35 board caught my attention with it's 6 x SATA connectors locations, and it's BIOS being designed for quads from the get go.

The idea of running low latency memory is high on my list of must have's, and those cheap ass 266 USD quads will run OC'd very stable w/ DDRII @ CL4, which is not the lowest, but a wise trade off speed for running VST apps, as fast and stable are my 2 favorite words.

I also just love the word MARS, definately battle worthy.

I hear you VMan!

ASUS is so fickle on their layout choices. On the P5W DH Deluxe they nailed the layout perfectly, i.e. if you have a x16 slot, put a x1 slot by it so you can waste it and lose the least. Then on their P35 board, the P5K Deluxe, they muff it.

What were they thinking?!?

I think I could live with this P35 board, the DQ6:

I know, one less PCI, but I feel like PCIE is gonna rule the world.

Ah, I see you spotted an awesome X38 board over on X-bit! Good find!
