Arturia finally realised that VST based architechture is shallow in comparison. Motorola's are the cheap way to go. AD's chips are better, but cost more.

I often asked myself how comfortable I'd feel going into outer space on a shuttle mission that was built by the lowest bidder.......NOT !!!!!

TigerSharc is for sure a different flavour of sound - the code base isn't compatible with the 21xxx series and the 'classic' stuff (as we know it)
There's a guitar FX box using TS, too. Sounds better than Guitar Rig to my ears (according to examples), but not better than Celmo or SpaceF- and it's fairly expensive.

I recently got a Boss Bass pedalbox (ME50B) with COSM modelling, which is surprisingly good.
What puzzles me is that the Roland Cube 100 Basscombo, apparently using the same technology, sounds like pure sh*te...

Anway, what made me buy the stomp box in the first place was it's simple handling - you just dial in the sound you like, choose a memory location and save the state of the entire machine.
It switches instananeously and noiseless between completely different settings, but well - that's another topic.
Just wanted to mention it's not just about facts and features, but also about accessibility

cheers, Tom
